I will be attending a water colour workshop for the next 5 weeks. I was first exposed to this medium when I started Art as a subject for CXC ( Caribbean equivalent to GCSE) back in the day. It's been a while since I've created any water colour pieces plein air, still life or live model. most of my recent works have been from photographs. I'm eager to see what will come out of this and I'll be posting my progress as the weeks go by.

Can't wait to start!!

  • Mood: Excited

thanks Bec for the watch....have u been painting much lately...I really love your contemporary style of art....a bit like picasso in some and the brilliant use of colours....that is what I love the most, your translation of colour

Every now and then I let them paint, they thoroughly enjoy it! Skye's going to start Primary school and Zane is starting pre school next month.

i like your gallery- i wish i could be so liberal with colours. just doesnt come out for me. anyway, nice work. :)

I try to do more toned down work and it just ends up looking a mess. Monochromatic or colourful seems to work best for me right now. I'm still trying to find middle ground :)

haha i guess different things work for different people. regardless, love your stuff. :)
